Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Yojana 2022, The Odisha State Government offers various types of good plans to farmers in the state from time to time. Similarly, the government has launched another program for farmers in the state called Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Yojana. The program was launched on 6 November 2018 by Prime Minister Naveen Patnaik. State farmers who wish to take advantage of the 90 percent solar pump subsidy program for irrigation can fill out an online application for it. This program will promote the use of solar energy in the country. As part of this program, the government will distribute 5,000 diesel pumps.

The scheme will also reduce energy consumption in the state. The concept is gradually being applied in the country. The first phase will cover areas protected by state laws. Under this scheme, solar pumps are provided to farmers and solar pumps are subsidized up to 90%. Farmers will get many benefits from this program.
Target
The government of Odisha is promoting the use of solar pumps for irrigation to increase irrigation potential and crop cultivation intensity in the state. The program is administered in the state by the Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA) under the Department of Science and Technology. For large-scale dissemination, DA&FE has decided to support the program with additional financial support to make it accessible to all categories of farmers. The general objectives of this program are
a. Determine the roles and responsibilities of DA&FE and OREDA field workers who will be included in the program.
b. Explore prospects for a solar pump program to address and support aspects of rural development that go beyond basic water supply.
C Development and testing of scalable development models for large-scale deployment of solar PV pumps.
d Improving access to energy in rural areas.
Main Features of Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Yojana
Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Yojana has the following characteristics:-
Under Odisha Saura Jalnidhi Yojana, 5000 farmers are provided with solar-powered farm pumps with a subsidy rate of 90%.
This scheme will reduce farmers' costs and increase farm income.
This program will promote the use of green energy and reduce pollution.
As part of this program, the government will secure the livelihoods of around 5,000 families.
Also, the cost of the solar pump under this scheme is Rs 57,000/-, of which 10% has to be paid to the farmers and the rest is borne by the state government.

Now the website homepage will open in front of you. On this page you need to click "Register online".
On the next page, click the "Next" button.
Next you need to enter your Farmer ID.
After entering the Farmer ID, an application form will open in front of you. Enter complete data in this form.
Click the Submit button to submit the application form.
Finally, applicants can apply to claim the Farm Pump Grant.
