Haryana Widow Pension Scheme, The Social Justice Department, Government of Haryana has launched the Widow and Destitute Women Pension Scheme for widowed women. Under this Widow Pension Scheme, all the deserted / destitute / destitute women above the age of 18 years will get Rs 2250 as monthly pension. Widow Pension Scheme and other social security schemes like old age pension scheme, handicapped pension scheme in Haryana are fully implemented by the state government. The new rules are effective from 1st November 2020, in which the rate of allowance has now been fixed at Rs 2250. The total annual income of the family of destitute/widowed women from all sources should not exceed Rs.2 lakh. Haryana Widow and Destitute Women Pension Scheme Details
The complete details of widow and destitute women pension scheme are as follows:-
Women above 18 years of age and permanent resident of Haryana for the last 1 year at the time of submission of application.
Annual income less than or equal to Rs 2 lakh.
Any one of three conditions is satisfied:
She is a widow; either
She is destitute without husband, parents and son: or
in the case of married women (a) the husband is destitute by reason of his desertion or physical/mental incapacity; or (b) the parents in the case of other women
Any of the above persons will not be eligible to receive the allowance under the scheme, notwithstanding the receipt of pension from any Government or local statutory body.
Haryana Widow Pension Amount
Under the Haryana Widow Pension Scheme, every widow woman beneficiary will get a pension of Rs 2250 per month. Earlier the amount of Haryana Widow Pension Scheme was Rs 1800 which has now been increased.
