Haryana Employees Cashless Health Scheme

Haryana Employees Cashless Health Scheme, Haryana State Government has launched Cashless Treatment Scheme for State Government Employees and Pensioners. Under the scheme, the beneficiary will get cashless medical services up to Rs 5 lakh. This scheme was started from 30 November 2017 in the state.

COVID-19 Cashless Treatment Scheme for Government Employees/ Pensioners
Haryana Government has announced to contain COVID-19 in limited cashless medical facility being provided to State Government employees, pensioners/family pensioners and their dependents. The move will ensure that the COVID-19 related medical bills of state government employees, pensioners/family pensioners and their dependents are reimbursed. The orders are implemented with immediate effect.
State Health Minister Anil Vij said that on behalf of the Additional Chief Secretary (Health), a letter has been sent to all the Heads of Departments, all the Managing Directors of Boards and Corporations of Haryana, all the Divisional and Deputy Commissioners of the State, High Commissioner and Registrar of Punjab and Haryana. Courts, Principal Accountant General (A&E & Audit), Director General of Information (Public Relations & Languages ​​Department), all Commissioners of State, all Civil Surgeons and CEOs/ Directors/ Medical Superintendents of all Private Hospitals/ Medical Colleges.

The State Government of Haryana had decided to provide for the State Government Employees, Pensioners/Family Pensioners and their dependents under the Limited Cashless Medical Facility to contain COVID in addition to the six hazardous medical conditions already notified by the State Government. All empaneled private hospitals will levy charges as per the existing reimbursement / limited cashless / empaneled policies, as the case may be, issued by the State Government and as amended from time to time.

Salient Features of Haryana Cashless Treatment for State Government Employee/Pensioner.
The benefit of the scheme is only for the regular employees and pensioners of the state government.
Spouses and dependents of state government employees and pensioners will not be able to take advantage of this scheme.

However, spouses and dependents of State Government employees and pensioners will get medical services as per the extant policy of reimbursement issued on May 6, 2005.
Beneficiaries will be able to avail medical services up to a maximum of Rs 5 lakh. If the cost of treatment exceeds then the balance amount will have to be paid by the employee or pensioner.
The excess amount will be paid by the employee or pensioner. Their respective department will subsequently reimburse this additional amount as per eligibility and extant reimbursement policy.
Haryana government will issue identity cards that will be linked with Aadhaar to regular employees and pensioners, while pensioners will have to hold a Pension Payment Order (PPO) as an identity proof to avail the benefits of the scheme.
