This is a luxury train with all modern amenities like Wi-Fi and direct dial phone connectivity. The train has a capacity of 1,028 passengers and will cover a distance of 3,096 kilometers in 37 hours and 45 minutes.

The journey starts with a halt at Varanasi where you can visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath temple. From here, the train moves on to Asansol and Calcutta before arriving in Kathmandu on February 2, 2019.

There are several tourism packages that can be booked on the train such as the Palace and Gardens Tour, Everest Base Camp Tour, Kathmandu Valley Tour and Annapurna Base Camp Tour.
